Altar servers are called by the Holy Spirit to serve at Mass. Serving on the altar and assisting the priest at Mass is a blessing and should be cherished. To become an altar server, you ought to have received the Sacrament of the Holy Communion and need to attend a one-hour training session. These sessions take place during the year.
